Alvaro Iribarrem
Researcher - PhD

Alvaro has a BSc. in Physics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). As a Ph.D. candidate, he worked at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) headquarters, in Garching bei München, from 2011 to 2012. He obtained his Ph.D. in Extragalactic Astrophysics in 2013. He is a researcher and professor at Professional Master’s in Sustainability Science at the Department of Geography and Environment, at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), linked to the CSRio, and a modeling analyst at the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS), working with mathematical modeling, numerical simulation and in data analysis.
