Daniel Maurenza
Researcher - MSc

Daniel is a biologist graduated in the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, master in Ecology from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia, and PhD. Student in Ecology from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He works in Ecology and Conservation Biology, having participated in the elaboration of the Redlist of Brazilian flora and the Redlist of endemic flora of the Rio de Janeiro. Currently, Daniel is member of Synthesis in Ecology and Susteinability of Atlantic Forest Group (SES-MA), with focus on the understanding of how the structure of fragmented landscapes of Atlantic forest relates with the forest communities of fauna and flora, generating scientific knowledges to subside decision makers about biodiversity.
