Daniel Maurenza
Researcher - Masters’ degree

Daniel has a BSc. in biology from the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, a MSc. in Ecology from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia, and he is currently a PhD student in Ecology from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He works in Ecology and Conservation Biology, having participated in the production of the Redlist of Brazilian flora and the Redlist of endemic flora of the Rio de Janeiro. Currently, Daniel is member of Synthesis in Ecology and Sustainability of Atlantic Forest Group (SES-MA), focusing in understanding how the structure of fragmented landscapes of the Atlantic forest relates to the forest communities of fauna and flora, generating scientific knowledge to subside decision makers about biodiversity.
