Pablo Viany Prieto
Researcher - PhD

Pablo is an ecologist with Master and PhD degreees in Botany. He has been studying the ecology of tropical forests for 15 years, with a focus on tree communities of the Brazilian Atlantic forest. His research interests also include plant conservation, restoration ecology, biogeography and ecophylogenetics.
Pablo is currently a post-doc researcher at the Centre for Conservation and Sustainability Science, where he is analyzing the effects of socioeconomic factors on the success of forest restoration at the global scale.
