The study published by the PACTO for the restoration of the Atlantic Forest in the last week – which shows that large-scale restoration is already happening in the Atlantic Forest – was\u00a0\u00a0broadcasted by\u00a0Globo News\u00a0TV last week.<\/p>\n

The analysis, led by\u00a0CSRio associate professor Renato Crouzeilles, identified the recovery of approximately 740,000 hectares of forests. The goal is to reforest 1 million hectares by 2020.<\/p>\n

The Pact for the Restoration of the Atlantic Forest is a movement created in 2009 by companies, government agencies, civil society organizations and research centers to stimulate the restoration of 15 million hectares of degraded areas in the biome by 2050.
