Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2006) and Master degree in Biology (Ecology) from the National Institute of Amazonian Research (2008). Specialist in Dissemination of Science, Health and Technology at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). Doctor degree in Remote Sensing at the National Institute of Space Research (INPE). Post doctorate at UNESP in Rio Claro – SP, in the dynamic ecology laboratory focusing on biogeography studies. Has experience in the area of Ecology and Environment, in research, in environmental consulting and monitoring. In education, he worked as an instructional designer, tutoring in biology and distance tutor. He is currently Professor at the Professional Master in Sustainability Science, at the Department of Geography and Environment, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), in partnership with CSRio and SIG analyst at the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS).
