Katarzyna holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master in Environmental Protection with specialization in soil conservation, degraded soil recovery and environmental chemistry. She completed her MSc at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences and also participated in Erasmus Programme at the Università degli Studi di Bari (Italy). The main subject of her interest became an impact of environmental pollution on human health, especially issues related to contaminated food. In addition, she is currently doing research related to renewable energy.
At the International Institute for Sustainability Katarzyna works as research assistant, providing a support within a range of projects including the potential benefits of biochar in organic agriculture.
