Aline Rodrigues
Aline holds a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and PhD in Geography and Environment at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, with part of the PhD at the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UK). She has experience in environmental history, historical ecology, soil science and forest restoration in the Atlantic Forest. Currently, she works in soil characterization projects and evaluation/valuation of soil ecosystem services in agricultural, livestock and forestry systems, with a special focus on soil carbon. She is a researcher at the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS) and professor at the Professional Master’s Degree in Sustainability Science at PUC-Rio. She is part of the research groups: Integrated Landscape Management (PUC-RIO), Rio Center for Conservation and Sustainability Sciences (CSRio) and the Laboratory of Biogeography and Historical Ecology (LaBEH).
